"Grama Juicy"

Well a lot has happened since we left the hospital last week. We have all boarded the roller coaster the really old one up at lagoon. When your riding on it you look down at all the 2x4's holding it up and at times its amazing and at times it scares you so bad you don't know if you'll make it.

Josie has good and bad days her strength isn't what it used to be and we are trying coming to terms with this.
As always I still love getting caught up in a long conversation with her which contains laughter and an interesting news topic. She also asks about the kids how the boys are and she wants a word for word on those 3 baby girls that refer to her as "Grama Juicy" !!
We are all forced to live in the moment with her and it is wonderful!!
I know Josie has so many friends that have wanted to come and see her we feel this would be a good time.

Thank you for the prayers and we know God is carrying her now.
Always our best,
Summer

The calm before the Storm

Good Afternoon
Josie is doing a little better physically and a lot better mentally she is no longer trying to change the channel with her cell phone!!!!
She is still at Huntsman and will continue to be until the flood gates open................
Her spirts are good and of course is getting constant comments on how fabulous her nails look!!LOL (If they could only see her when she goes to the grocery store.)
This is a beautiful hospital better than any hotel i have ever stayed in so it is perfect for Josie.
She is still not up for visitors however she has loved reading your comments thank you !!
Well keep you posted and as Josie would say Hugs!

Whats Happening today

Well we have decided to start this blog because of the overwhelming response from all of the people that love and care about Josie !!( a lot)
(Our kids have started to hide our phones because they have been ringing off the hook!!)

Because of her sudden down turn of health we will be updating this for her (we meaning Ambra or Summer)

Josie has been admitted in to Huntsman Cancer Center HIP, HIP HOORAY!!!!!!
Finally a place that realizes we are not crazy or just unaccepting of the causes of cancer. We now know the cause of her sudden down turn is because of being SEVERELY COMPACTED yes you read it correct. It only took 3 weeks, 5 doctor visits and 5 ER visits. Then we finally came to U of U ER they decided to get a basic Xray of the her abdomen the ER doc said "The size of a small house cat "

Needless to say she will be here a couple days however we are on our way to recovery!!! she is getting more lively as I type.

I will have her check this blog daily so leave messages for her and any questions.(she isn't really talking on the phone much)

Thank you for all the prayers and We will keep you posted on this blog.

Much Love,
Summer
